Record Number of Births at Medina Regional Hospital

20 Babies took their first breath at Medina Regional Hospital in the Month of June

The Medina Healthcare System’s Labor and Delivery suite was very busy this past month welcoming new residents into Medina County.  The dynamic team of physicians, nurses, and staff at Medina Regional Hospital delivered 20 babies in the month of June.

In addition, the Radiology Department also enhanced the technology services for our expecting mothers in June with the purchase of a GE Logiq S8 4D sonogram machine.

“It is always so exciting to welcome a baby into this world,” states Janice Simons, CEO at Medina Healthcare System. “The maternity wing of Medina Regional Hospital offers very spacious rooms so that the physicians and nurses may provide the entire family the needed care and support during this special time, and our Radiology Department cannot wait to use the new sonogram machine on our expectant moms.  But more importantly, we are so glad to continue to grow this service. It is our mission at Medina Healthcare System to ensure quality care is provided close to home, always. The doctors, nurses, and staff in the Labor and Delivery Department are a great team and should certainly be commended for their hard work this past month.”

As the staff of Medina Healthcare System celebrates the growth in services offered, they would also like to extend a sincere appreciation to the patients for choosing the Medina Healthcare System.
