Responsibilities include but not limited to total nursing care,
assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each assigned
patient on the Med/Surg unit. Plan, provide, and document discharge
planning, teaching and educates patients, family, or others to attain
optimal health and continuity of care. Assure that the plan of care is
carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of
subordinate personnel.
Experience
A minimum of one-year experience in hospital setting preferred.
Special skills
Ability to communicate effectively and ability to work compatibly as a team member with physicians and other staff members.
License required
Current Texas RN licensure, certification in CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred
