Description:
Must be able to perform blood draws from all types of patients
(newborns to older adults); must be able to draw arterial blood gases
and perform Allen’s test bleeding times; must be able to collect DOT
and Non-DOT drug screens.
Education: One-certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience.
Experience: Three years experience in phlebotomy.
Special Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and ability to work compatibly as a
team member with staff members.
