Find your niche in rural healthcare. Medina Healthcare System is hosting an Open House and Job Fair on Tuesday, May 10th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the hospital board room. Human Resources Director Sharon Garcia says, “When people think of hospitals they think of doctors and nurses, but there are so many other jobs in the hospital that don’t require nursing or medical degrees. We have openings for certified technical positions in the laboratory, imaging, therapy, health information management and other services, as well as general labor needs in housekeeping, nutrition services and facility maintenance.”
Chief Nursing Officer Rebecca Hinojoza, RN, says “Rural healthcare offers so many opportunities for clinical and non-clinical staff to grow and thrive in their positions. If the corporate atmosphere and urban traffic and congestion are not your cup of tea, you may just find your niche and a new career path in rural healthcare.
