Welcome to Medina County, Kingsleigh Ann!

The Medina Healthcare System and Dr. Richard Rowland welcomed Medina County’s first baby of 2017 on Thursday, January 5th at 7:09 a.m.  Kingsleigh Ann Zepeda was born to Jolene and Kameron Zepeda of Hondo.   She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 19 and one half inches.  Big sisters, Zita and Bella, are excited to welcome her into the family.  Paternal grandparents are Laura and Carmelo Valdez.  Great-grandparents are Anita Hernandez and Alice Maldonado.

Although she’s the family’s third child, Kingsleigh is their first child born at Medina Regional Hospital.  “We are very pleased with the care and all the personal attention we received from Dr. Rowland and the staff,” said Mr. Zepeda.  “It was very convenient for our family to be so close to home, and the private room was great.  We are glad we chose to have our baby at Medina.  It was a wonderful experience.”  The family received a large gift basket filled with lots of baby supplies and essentials.  This is the third year in a row that Dr. Rowland has delivered the first baby of the year.
