Responsibilities: Review and follow request for tests and procedures prescribed by physicians. Draws and processes specimens promptly and in compliance with established procedures. Follows established procedures when performing chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urine analysis, bacteria cultures, blood blank or serology tests or procedures.
Education: Must have BS or AS in Medical Technology or Clinical Science.
Experience: Prior experience preferred. Ability to work in all areas of the laboratory. Ability to communicate effectively and work compatibly as a team member with physicians and other staff members. Able to draw blood gases and routine blood draws.
License required: Registered as Medical Technologist, ASCP AMT, CLS, HEW or equivalent.
